چکیده
Background: Objectives To study the relationship between 2019 EULAR/ACR classification criteria and organ damage in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) Methods Patients involved a cross-sectional validation of judged by panel rheumatologists to be clinical SLE were studied. Those who fulfilled at their last clinic visit stratified into 2 groups based on cut-off score 20. The international collaborating (SLICC) index (SDI) was compared these two groups. Relationship among domains SDI all studied Spearman’s rank correlation. Results 562 (93.6% women; age 36.5±14.1 years; follow-up duration 11.6±6.6 years). mean median scores those (N=542) 24.6±7.3 24 (interquartile range 19-30), respectively. A total 392 had ≥20 (group 1) 150 10-19 2). Group 1 significantly higher prevalence fever, alopecia, oral ulcers, acute skin lesions, arthritis, serositis, seizure, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia renal disease, so anti-dsDNA, anti-Sm, antiphospholipid antibodies low complement state. Organ (SDI ≥1) occurred 232 (42.8%) patients. group renal, cardiovascular, dermatological gonadal than 2. neuropsychiatric domain correlated positively SDI. strongest correlation (Rho 0.30; p<0.001). scored 10 points 8 or 4 points. Gonadal also more common 10-point 8-point group. Conclusion In addition disease classification, may have role predicting prognosis. REFERENCES: NIL. متن کاملRare Association between Kikuchi's Disease and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis or Kikuchi's disease is a rare, benign condition of unknown etiology, which is usually characterized by cervical lymphadenopathy and fever. This disease is rarely associated with systemic lupus erythematosus. Here we describe, for the first time in Iran, a patient who developed systemic lupus erythematosus about 3 years after the initial diagnosis of Kikuch...
متن کاملAnticardiolipin Antibodies in Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Background: Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APS) can either occur as a primary syndrome or associated with other autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Anticardiolipin antibody (aCL) of IgG and/or IgM isotype in blood, measured by a standardized ELISA is the most acceptable laboratory criteria. APS IgG isotype, particularly IgG2 subclass is more strongly associated ...
